How do you feel when someone disagrees with everything you have to say?
학생이 쓴 원문
I sometimes feel embarrassed when someone disagrees with me on a certain issue or something I have to say especially at a formal meeting. The situation gets worse when someone deliberately opposes me in front of many audiences because I often feel humiliated when I am offended before my colleagues, friends, or relatives. Getting emotional is the thing that I should avoid to win the battle when I am attached, however, it is very difficult for me to stay calm and rebut my opponent in a logical way with valid proof. In some cases, people tend to judge that a person who raises his voice is strong and what he’s saying is more compelling. The best way to deal with the situation where you get involved in an argument or a debate regardless of your intention is that you do not get emotional. If you think it’s not worth spending time and debating with him/her, just ignore it and change the subject. If you did state something that was incorrect or wrong, just accept it in the first place.

Good evening Sir [이름]!
I also feel the same way. I tend to be emotional when someone disagrees with me if my intention is good.
But I learned that every person is unique. We do have different perspective in life.
You\'re absolutely right. We should know how to deal with different situations.
Can\'t wait to hear more of your ideas. Talk to you soon.
