How do you kill insects in your house?

Thankful for my mom, who is a great hunter, so there are not many insects in my house. She uses various skills to kill them. Firstly, the most horrible indoor creature, cockroach, is never allowed to be shown at home. My mom regularly puts a pesticide, kind of leaving into small spaces, like under closets or sink, in order that they can eat and die when they come in. First and foremost, we should be clean. That’s why she always scolds me when I drop some crumbs on the floor. However, the most annoying insect, these days, is mosquitos. We don’t exactly know how they have come, but we catch more than five everyday. Surely, my mom is the best to do this, and there is a special tool for her. It looks like a tennis racket, but there is a metal mesh with batteries being able to make electronic spark when a mosquito is captured into the mesh. My mom is really good at being quietly close to it and killing it in a moment. My dad usually calls her when he finds it, not catches it by himself.
