My answer could be different how much I have trusted him or her.
First of all, someone who I have not believed because I do not much know about him or her, or the person acts untrustworthy, I do not listen carefully his or her words and try to put more distance.
On the other hand, if I know a counterpart tell a lie though I believe that the person don’t do, I firstly think there is a reason. This could be protective for someone, and there is no offence. However, in the case that this expectation is wrong, and it makes me be in trouble, I would seriously feel betrayed to him or her. Moreover, I could become skeptical when I make new relationship with the others.
