This is because many people believe that attending descent universities will bring more opportunities. Mostly many kids aim for top 11 schools based in Seoul or medical schools. This focus makes parents adjust their lifestyle to Suneung. Only goal for them is to ensure their children earn high marks. Most of the cases, many parents move to Seoul where there are various private educational institute. Also, there are parents donating to religious institutions. Recently the vlog of South Korean actress, Han-Ga-in went viral because the once famous actress finishes meal in car while waiting her kids to finish schools and private lessons. These passions and sacrifices make South Korea as a country with high educational level. However, there are concerns that obsession to a good university can lead to burn out or depression.
