How is English and other languages different from Korean?

Korean is shorter than other languages.

 Korean has some dialect, the people leaved in south place don\'t like or feel shy when they hear standard language.

 When I rode a subway in Busan which is most advanced city among south cites in Korea, I talked to my friend using a standard language, so some older people looked at me.
