Korean culture represented as K-wave is adding a value in country’s reputation. Now, I do not have to explain the difference between North and South Korea. Also, this popularity would have positive impact on international relationships, trade and tourism. Starting with the travel industry, there are rising number of people visiting Korea. According to research, 18.7 million people visited Korea in 2025, surpassing pre-pandemic level. Compared to the past where most visitors were from neighboring nations, many westerners visit Korea. In terms of international relations, this massive popularity led to forge relationships with many nations. Now 192 countries have established diplomatic relations with South Korea and the nation ranked fourth in terms of passport index. Short-term visitors can enter UK and European Union without lengthy immigration process. Finally in terms of trade, many countries agreed bilateral relationships to ensure exchange in technological and economic capabilities.
