How to keep learning

I would like to learn a new field that I have never encountered before. When a new learning begins, everybody feels passion for a new field. We are used to buy some books, collect materials and ardently announce to other people that have just started to learn about that. But after the lapse of time, the enthusiasm has gradually faded away and collected materials are covered with dust.So, Motivation is important nto maintain the attitude for learning like beginning. Motivation would become a compass when we fall into mannerism.
