I usually explain benefits of accepting my offer to persuade someone. And I think to suggest various options can often make positive result. For example, when I want to watch a movie with my friend, who is hesitating, I would offer to buy her popcorns. Also I would make her to choice what movie to watch. Then I could talk with her about offer details and both of us would be satisfied.
