As far as you can tell, the title seems really awkward. And even Koreans think what that really means. What I really talk about is that Korean people are all too shy, maybe too uninterested, to ignore people and skip to say hello. That\'s why when we are in an elevator or somewhere like it, we feel awkward. So, Maybe some of Koreans like me feel jealous of American culture of greeting. Anyway, I usually say Hi between all my friends but I can\'t do the same greeting to those who are older than me. There is Korean culture that someone younger should say nicely to the older. And It\'s typical to say 안녕하세요(an nyeong ha sye yo,) to the older. It seems to me that saying 안녕하세요 doesn\'t sound as nice as Good morning, good afternoon or good evening does. I used to tried to say good morning to my friends but that was too embarrassing for me to keep doing it.
