How to speak well and with fun?

I had a dinner with a friend today. We could not met up from almost 2 weeks which is quite long for us because we used to meet one a week before the coronavirus mesures have settle up. Until this Sunday, all the restaurant in Korea must close at 9 p.m. and it is forbidden to organize gathering if we are over 10 people. He is a good and closed friend but 2 weeks of lack of gathering with him gave me a feeling that we have less commun subjects to talk. I tried to talk a lot and being funny but I failed. During coming back home, I was thingking about how to keep friends and relations being interested and attentive when I am talking to them. I find I am not natural born funny speaker but I am convinced that every one could be that one if we learn about some talking skills. From tonight, I will search on internet about this kind of skills.
