I believe that the higher price of gas could not the fundamental solution for global environmental issues. Firstly, it is not easy to set the proper cost of fossil fuel. How much of that would be the most suitable? The rich are still affordable but the poor are not. Is that make sense that kind of environmental policy is going to not able to drive a car because they cannot afford it? To figure it out, I strongly believe that the government should push the commercial company into developing eco-friendly technologies which can be operated not by oil but by sustainable renewable energies, such as electricity, solar power, or wind energy. We can reduce much more harmful emissions by using more green energy than gas. In conclusion, the pricing policy of fossil fuel would not be the permanent strategy for clean air, so the government should establish some act to force relevant industries to develop new technology for saving our planet.
