Many people are already trying to promote Korean heritage. I saw a TV show, which projected to release their video clip on electronic signboard in Timesquare of New York. Their video clip was about our traditional food 'bibimbap'. For their project, they conducted survey to New yorker about how much do you know about Korea. Most of them didn't know about Korea, and some of them did with our food, Kimchi or Bulgogi. So the TV show opened a free restaurant to promote the Korean food. The result was not failure. Many New Yorkers liked Korean food, though some didn't like at all. Like this, I think food can be a good medium for promoting our heritage to other countries. All people like delicious food and especially, people are finding healthy food more and more. In this sense, Korean foods which have much vegetables and not-fried dishes can be the trend in the world. For globalization our food, I think many promotions and adaptions to be more common taste should be done first.
