I believe that violence in mass media has a damaging effect on society. First of all, there is an experiment that shows the effect of violence on a television program. About 10 children took part in the experiment, and they are divided into 2 groups. The first group watched violent videos and children are brought to a room where there are many tools and dolls; however, the second group watched a fun animation and they are brought to the same room. Surprisingly, children who are in the first group attacked dolls with tools as they watched on videos, while children who are in the second group just played with dolls. This situation happened since children have a low ability to think critically. Second, there is a grade in the broadcast programs, and the grade depends on violence, risk of imitation and so on. If violent media has no damaging effect, why a grade exists? In conclusion, I think these pieces of evidence show that violence on mass media effects harmful to society obviously.
