Nowadays many Koreans don’t use cash more than before. They want to use credit cards.
It’s very convenient, we don’t need to carry money and to calculate change. Sometimes we use cash, but we rarely use it.
An additional positive aspect is that the use of money becomes transparent. Countries can secure their taxes more clearly.
The negative part is that everyone is supposed to contribute to the card company, whether they like it or not. Many people complain about the high fees of using credit cards.
