This table shows the average band scores of IELTS for students from different language groups. Most noticeable point is the overall score of German gruop. This score is highest and the gap between it and score of the lowest group, Malay group is 0.4.
In the listening, writing, and speaking parts, German group gets the highest score. On the other hand, the lowest score in those part is found in Malay group\'s test result. In the speaking part, French and Malay get the same score 6.6 which is lowest. By and large, German group tends to get the highest score.
However, the inclination that German group usually gets the highest score and Malay group gets the lowest doesn\'t happen in reading part. In that part, Malay group gets the highest score 6.4. Getting the second-highest score, German group is following Malay group. The lowest score is found on French and Indonesian groups.
