The map illustrates changes made to the village of Ryemouth between 1995 and present.
Overall, it is clear that there are several changes, the most noticeable being the increases in accommodation , also More facilities and buildings have constructed by changing era.
Looking at the map more closely, it is evident that to the north west of the village lies houses on the side of road in 1995. After the road has been built, houses have been constructed more. In the north east side, the forest park was removed and farmland has been exchanged to golf place, which is included tennis court. Next to the hotel, there was empty place, but it has appeared as a car park now.
In the south, fishing port was situated on the sea and fish market was held in front of the sea in the past whereas fish market has been replaced by four apartments at the same location. Also, It can be seen that the shops were gone, being exchanged to five restaurants. The café remain unchanged.
