If you could know every language in the world, but you would never be able to use your native langua

It couldn’t be better if I can speak all the languages in the world. However, if I would never be able to use my native language, it would be awful. One of my concerns is how to communicate with my family. I’ve seen many adoptees who later found and met their biological parents, but they were not able to converse with each other. It’s so sad that they have to just look at their eyes without sharing emotions via communication. In order to have a good relationship, proper and continuous communication is of critical importance. Although they met like 20 or 30 years after they were separated, they cannot understand each other at all. However, above all, languages are a great asset for what you want to do in life. You can view the world from a different angle. They open your mind to worlds you never knew were there. They introduce you to amazing people that you might otherwise have just walked by. The challenge is that we cannot learn a new language overnight. It requires patience.
