If you could only pack five things for a trip to an unknown place, what would you take?

It will depend on which region you travel to. If you travel to a tropical area, you don’t need to take warm clothes. If I don’t have any information about the place to visit at all, I would put focus on basic necessities. Without any clue about where to go, I have to prepare for the worst case scenario because I might face various difficult situations that I had not expected at all. So, I will take clothes, tooth paste and brush, first aid kits with some over-the-counter medicine, emergency survival foods, and water. If I have to travel to an uninhabited island, my backpack will be filled with survival kits such as match, compass, knife, sleeping bag, food and water. Traveling to an unknown place sounds exciting as long as it is safe. We are so used to living in the city, so it is better to experience new things in somewhat a remote place where nature is well preserved and local people live differently from the people in big cities. However, on earth, do we have unknown places?
