If you had $3,000 to improve your home, what would you spend it on?

There are a few things that I would like to improve at my home. Firstly, floor in my living room is made of wood panels that are susceptible to external damages when something drops. There are many dents and small craters, so I would like to replace them with new panels. Secondly, I need to buy a table for TV in the living room. Lastly I need some posters or paintings that are to be put on walls. I currently don’t any decorations at my home, so it looks like a just studio, not home. A living room typically creates a lasting impression for all who enter. It serves as a comfortable family gathering place for watching TV, doing homework, or sipping tea. It tells my family and guests if I am formal and elegant or fun-loving and laid-back. It sets the mood for the home and should be a reflection of the owner’s personal taste. However, the most important thing in decorating your home is creating environments that can make your family feel comfortable, not to show others.
