If you had to choose between a satisfying job and a well-paid one, which would you choose?

This question was a dilemma for me until 5 years ago. However not now. I prefer a well-paid job more then a satisfying job. And I want to suggest a condition about the meaning of \'well-paid\'. It means the regular and stable salary, not only the highly-paid. These days I realized that I cannot get a self-realization through a job. Every fields of job can give me a stress even I like the field. I think that is an unavoidable truth about \'Job\'. So I think a job have to be a well-paid one. After then, I can try to satisfy in there. Satisfaction is option in job society. Maybe you can think that I am a materialistic person. However, it is a real life. Don\'t sink into the illusion dreaming anymore. We can find a satisfaction with a well-paid job.

I wouldn\'t say you are a materialistic person. Rather, I would say you are realistic and logical.
What I like most about your answer was about satisfaction and stress; because it\'s true. 
Being satisfied is an option. Its us who can decide if it is satisfying or not based on our own definition of the word.
Stress is always there whether we are satisfied or not too.
