If you have a wish but your family doesn't agree with you, what should you do?

In most cases, I give in to my wife and daughter whenever I have conflicts over family matters although my wife thinks the other way. She says that I do whatever I wish to do and never give up my wishes at any cost. When it comes to playing tennis, she might be right because it is the only thing that I can exercise and relieve stress that I got from work. I can be refreshed and re-energized by playing tennis which is my only hobby. Other than that, I always do not raise my voice and consent to their opinions. We are different in various things such as views on child education, favorite food, traveling style, investment propensity, spending pattern, vision towards life, and so on. Even when we try to buy furniture, we have different opinions. It is never easy for people to live together with a person who is different from me. However, as a family, we have to understand every individual has his/her own characteristics that are different from mine. We have to admit and embrace them.
