If you were an interviewer, what three questions would you always ask University applicants?
학생이 쓴 원문
It may differ by program, but if I were to interview applicants, I would be asking behavioural questions. These questions can include something like “What is your biggest achievement,” What kind of leadership do you admire?” and “What is your biggest achievement?” This is because applicants’ characteristics and values are not reflected in the applications. Applicants’ academic readiness can be captured through transcripts, professional certifications, and official test scores. Also, their motivations can be assessed by essays or resumes. However, their attitudes cannot be evaluated apart from recommendation letters, which can be written in favour of applicants. Evaluating attitudes and characteristics is important because most classes are conducted through group work or projects, so collaboration and leadership matter. It is important to understand their motivation in the interview, but I think the more important question is how well students can work with their cohort and professor.
