If you would commend someone close to you, who would it be and why?

I'd like to commend a friend who is a my classmate of college. He is kindhearted and he always takes the lead in the charity work. He helps people in the worst situation. Once, but it happened before more than 30years, after the practice class, all of students went back to their home. The practice room was a big mess. I saw a person cleaning the room alone. I helped him and I strated to be closed to him after that time. A person is that friend. In spite of passing 30 years, though not too open, I am meeting him and we are still friend.
