I don\'t like living in an apartment because it has too many stories and l cannot help encountering many residents in a elevator or entrance. I don\'t like taking an elevator with a stranger or drunk person. A flat house has generally four or five stories and not too many people live in a building. In addition, the first floor of a flat sometimes has a small yard or large terrace. And the monthly maintenence fee is cheaper than that of an apartment. However,nowadays a flat carries a risk of losing some deposits, so most of tenants favor monthly payments.
