Yes. In my culture, cards or gifts are given in the new year. Because it can convey my heart or words in the New Year. I give my family a card first. I give a card to my grandmother, grandfather, aunt, etc. In Korea, the elderly give pocket money to their grandchildren for the New Year. Adults also give towel food and flower money to grandparents. If you have a lot of money, we will give you an electronic machine or an electric chair. Grandchildren expect pocket money from grandparents. Because we can buy what we want with that allowance. But most of our pocket money goes to our bank account.
