In your own opinion, how important it is to go to college?

In our country, over 60% of highschool students go to college these days whether he/she is excellent or bad scores in his class. Also, a lot of student select their college not major he wants to study but its reputation. This student might be not interested on his studying majored throughout his college life. Some students try to get a double/minor major for his interest or getting a job. I think it is very important to determine his major to do 1st, and then choose acceptable college. Usually, we get a job based on his major. Therefore it is so important to find a suitable major for his life. But, it is not easy because a lot of student don't know his talent or interest. Some people say it is important exposing to various environments from young childhood to know his interest. However is it possible to most parents? I also couldn’t do to my son. Might be half of my no assist, my son still don’t know his academic aptitude even though he is a highschool student. I worry about it.
