International marriage in Korea

I live in Jeonju, which in a small city in the southern Korea. So, it was unusual to see international couples around my town back then. However, I can have observed hose couples in my city everywhere for several years. I can easily tell then apart from Korean couples because the wives looks different first of all. The couples also show big age difference, and the women don't look confident. I don't mind of their marriage is based on love and trust. but, It's like booming business these days. Some Korean husbands treat their wives as convenient belongings because they paid a fortune considering their financial status. Moreover, some of the foreign wives seems to think their marriage as a gateway to support the needy family vack in their country. Nowadays, Korean society tries to embrace the overall problem , and help the couples that are challenged in every aspect. All international couples have difficulties cultivating their life in Korea because most older Koreans are crazy about the lineage. Korean society, in my opinion, is getting through the transition stage to go to a upper level. Most koreans are going to accept multi-cultural society and recognize genuine meanings of diversity in the near future.
