Q. Why do you apply to an exchange student program?
A. Frist of all, I want to use English not as a subject to be tested but as a language to communicate with friends. Of course, that is possible in Korea, but because I'm not confident in speaking English and most of the students are Korean, I don't try to make foreign friends here. So through an exchange student program, I'm going to put myself in an situation where I can't help using English and trying to be close with foreigners, and it will improve my speaking skill. And by experiencing many diverse things, I want to expand my mind and grow mentally.
Q. Have you ever been to another country?
A. The only time I went abroad is when I traveled to China with my family for about one week. But I've never studied abroad. That's one of the reasons why I applied to an exchange student program. With this opportunity, I'd like to study abroad and experience many things.
