Is Chuseok seen as a time of year to reunite with family, reconnect, and catch up with each other? I

Chuseok falls on 15th of 8 months of Lunar calendar on full moon is one of the biggest holiday with Lunar New year in Korea. Family members usually gather in their hometown which their parents are living. We all catch up and prepare food for traditional memorial service called Jesa. It is a kind of ritual for our ancestor, pay to respect to the spirits of ancestors. We put a lot of food on the table such as Songpyeon which is tradiational rice cake, fine fruits, sweet snacks which is made with rice and white wine called Jeongjong. Especially, it is the difficult for women to make \"Jeon\", grilled fish, vegetables and meats. It is time consuming to make it because we need to cook it a lot. After memorial service, we eat all the food prepared and usually go to tomb to trim grass and clean up around tomb and then back home, we enjoy tradiational games and drink some alchol. However, it is not a happy moment for daughter in law due to the preparation of food and traffic jam to hometown.
