Is it fine for you to travel to other countries using a boat? Why or why not?

I always love travelling, especially, to go abroad.  I went to Jeju island from Incheon port and to Macau from Hong Kong using a ship, but I have never visited the other countries by boat. Going to Japan or China or eastern parts of Russia in this is possible taking about a day or a little more.  I don’t prefer this, because this is time consuming. Actually, we can go almost everywhere in the world within two days by a flight. I’m not sure, but using a ship is not much cheaper than using a plane. There are many low cost airways, nowadays. However, I sometimes dream about cruising the world embarking on a luxurious ferry.
