Is the effort involved in pursuing any goal valuable, even if the goal is not reached?

I definitely think the effort is very valuable even if the goal is not reached. There is a word "the process is more important than the result" Yes, these days especially in the business, we have to make a good result even if the processes are not smooth. However, I don't think so. We can't see all the effort that someone did for the result, but we have to try to know that person's effort. For the adult, it is really hard to look that efforts, but for children, we have to know their effort even if the results are not good. Think about the time when we were really young like as the baby. At that time, all the adult alway cheer up us to do everything. How much we fail to stand up ourselves, the adult keeps cheer we up. That makes us can walk and do everything that people have to do. So I think the effort is more important than the result.
