Korea have special food for thanksgiving day.

Korea have special food for thanksgiving day. We prepare the food for our ancestor and make a table on that day. Especailly, I like to eat dduck-guk called "rice cake soup" in Korean. It taste nutty and have a chewy texture. and We have special thanksgiving's cake called it as song-pyun. It have an important meaning that every family member who live apart gather in the house cook and eat together. We put the specail suace into it such as mashed adzuki bean, sugar or something if desired. My grandmother would prepare pine tree's leaves and put them in pot's bottom when song-pyun were cooked. It makes us smell fragrant with our mouth full of it. But I can't remember the last time when extensive family have made it together. As my grandmother has alzheimer's disease, she's stayed in hospital for her specail treatment and care from doctor and nurses for a few years. Whenever we met, we droped by her hospital and made her out for seeing the sea, mountain and other sightseeing.
