Luck and success.

In the contemporary society, which is regarded to be meritocratic, it is easy to come across a number of stories that attribute one\'s success solely to his or her hard-work, neglecting or even deliberately ignoring the significance of luck. This mindset is necessary especially for under-privileged people to be diligent regardless of their current circumstances, promoting brighter outlook among them when it comes to their future prospects. By doing so, they are able to go through a wide array of ordeals that they are now facing respectively. But it doesn\'t necessarily mean that they will succeed after all and, unfortunately, the opposite is more common in many cases. In fact, looking at an individual piece of success more thoroughly, we will see a series of accidents intertwined with one\'s effort which leads to positive unexpected consequences. This aspect is just intentionally concealed by the social structure so that a few individuals\' success could be justified without any criticism.

Hi Drexel! Thank you for your thoughts on this. Kind of deep actually. ^ ^ But I\'m amazed with your use of words and piecing them together making it rhetoric and deep, like I said. ^ ^ Hmm...What are you trying to say here again?  ^ ^ (Just kidding!)
But for me, I believe that one\'s success is 99 percent hard work and 1 percent luck. It really pays to do hard-work I guess, because the result is quite fulfilling as well. Don\'t you think? ^ ^
