Make a short essay: What is the most important lesson a person should learn in life?

When it comes to the most important lesson in my life, It is impossilbe not to mention a word " a pursuit of happniess". Everyone has a right to chase it. Also, The Constitution gives people the right to pursue happiness. Therefore, one's happiness seems to be a intrinsic value in human being. In this sense, some promblem comes to the surface. Because there are too many ways to get a goal, sometimes they may clash with each other in one's way to go to their destination. So, we should know how to respect and appreciate differences between people. And i think this is not the same as something we can learn from the textbook, so we have to make ourselves exposed many strange and new circumstances. Then, we will be exposed to many different values and find one's proper value they should follow in their future. Anyhow, what i want to say to this question is that we have to experience many things as much as possible before we become complacent to this world.
