Married? or Single?

One of my hobbies is surfing the Internet. I enjoy a lot because it is entertaining and gives me an opportunity to collect useful information as much as I can. One day, I read the article written by the woman in the middle twenties on the web site that I used to visit on the regular basis. She asked when was the marriageable age for her. What a nonsense question! I thought that way for a second. I, however, realized that she got pressured from her family and korean society. She was in the middled of th twenties, so she didn't have to rush. But, she was going to reach the certain age that was claimed the proper time soon. She was just worried about what's going to happen unless she found a qualified man. All of a sudden, it occurred to me what if we are wasted by marriage system to support a whole societal mechanism beyond our control. What should we do if we are just doomed to work like working bee in the hives called marriage? To have a loving family costs women's career, recreation and youth. It's not free. It's accomplished at the expense of women's total sacrifice even if some men a lot help these days. As soon as women come back from their honeymoon they get bombarded with a variety of duties that are irrational or quite unpleasant. Also, raising kids is a big responsibility. I want to give a big hand to courageous people who gave birth to their babies ito the crazy and extremely competitive world at the present time. According to my close friends, I have a pessimistic standpoint about marriage because I didn't meet Mr. [Name] yet. I gave up meeting someone because I didn't want to burden my future husband with my heath condition in the first place. However, I prefer to remain single even if I retain my health back now. I might be self-righteous or selfish , but I honestly don't want to give up who I am.
