When I was young, media refer to TV, radio and newspaper. Nowadays, we are contacting with media through the internet, smart phone as well as TV in our everyday lives. We cannot imagine our lives without media. Media are very influencial to our lives but we have to be very careful which news we are exposed to. The people concerned to media tend to write the article in exciting and negative ways because they want to pay attention to readers or viewers. So we have to judge the news rationally. Recently we've heard the warm-hearted news about the sportmen who take part in the Olympic Games. They could win the medals through taking pains and efforts. Sadly, media only focus in the medalist. We cannot hear the news about many athelets who tried their best but could not get good results. If the media deal with their sad and worthwhile stories, I think that it gives more cheer and encouragement to many ordinary people who are living under the hard situation.

Media has a way of brainwashing people. If we are not smart enough to filter the information we get around us, then we will be easily influenced. Media has the tendency to be biased. Honest journalism nowadays doesn\'t pay well. Everything has to be exaggerated and only all the needless unimportant news are the ones trending all the time.
