I once took a family trip to Jindo- a small island at the southwestern most tip of Korea.
Unlike many touristy islands that are busy and highly developed, Jindo felt simple, peaceful,and warm.
What really surprised me was that some homes had family graves right next to them.
It was something I\'d never seen before.
But I learned that in Jindo people keep their ancestors close, not only in their hearts, but also in their everyday lives. It\'s easier for them to hold memorials or take care of the graves, and it help them remeber their roots.
I found that really meaningful.
This experience showed me how the people of Jindo live in harmony with nature and tradition, and it left a deep impression on me.
