I think it's not good to tell something very personal to strangers. Regardless of how they feel, people may be reluctant to say something vey personal even to their close ones. However if it's a trival problem or a thing that you can tell to anybody, I think it's okay to confess it to a stranger. Maybe you can have the answer to overcome your problem or think differently. Actually I sometimes talk with strangers like I have known them before. (There are some times that I talk with strangers very naturally.) In my experiences, though I never said anything personal, the conversation could go on. And after the conversation, I often feel there are still many good people which I didn't realize before. Also, it makes me feel there are a lot friend I can make. Do I say too optimistically? I do know I have to be careful when I get in touch with strangers, but it's happy to know the world is not dangerous as it seems, as they say.
