money gift for wedding 1

The fall is wedding season. And my age is the marrige one. So some of my friends are going to get married in this fall. Of course I am very happy about their wedding. and I am willing to congratulate to them. But the money gift for wedding is not great guest. Sometimes it is big pressure to me. In addtion, I have no plan to get married yet. So frankly, I begrudge it. If I don't get married in the future, can I get back my money? Maybe not.

Yeah I heard that it was customary to give money for the newlyweds, unlike in other countries where in you can give anything that the couple could use for their life together.
