my chicken layed an egg

Today, I saw an egg in the cage with chickens. Mom got it in her hend when I came out. And then I saw it falling and cracked. There were just one girl chicken in the cage and it looked very helthy. last time a girl chicken died because other chickens had picking at her. I hope that I would se a chick from the cage befor cristmas.
