Hello, T. Jean,
I\'m mom of [이름].^^ how are you?
Actually I worry about [이름]\'s ability of speaking now. (because she will be the 3\'d grade in her elementary school at next year.)
I think it got better firstly but speaking skill is stagnant....(i think...)
when she talk with you, she say after writing in the paper.. so I asked she can(should) say at once without any pre-writing..
so I think she doesn\'t say fluently even though she did this long time...(Please don\'t misunderstand about this... I feel grateful to you and like you and your teaching skill to her...^^)
So, If you can, I need you to lead her to talk without pre-writing
and I have no idea about her level in her age group(9Y).

Hi Suzie!
I completely understand your concern. Yes, I noticed as well that she developed the habit of writing her answers on a paper, which actually affects her fluency. You\'re right about that part. In fact, I thought that that was your suggestion so I didn\'t say anything about it when I noticed. She used to just simply say her answers without writing it first, but suddenly changed about a couple of months ago. Since you pointed this problem out, we would focus more on working on her fluency starting tomorrow.
Also, she sometimes shrugs her shoulders or say \'I don\'t know\' when I ask her some things. I know that it\'s not easy to express her thoughts, but she should also still try regardless of the difficulty as that would challenge her to think. I sometimes encourage her to just say what she thinks but I can guess that she\'s a bit self-conscious with her grammar or the way she would articulate her thoughts. I\'m going to work more on this as well.
Please feel free to talk to or send me a message anytime you have a concern or a question. Don\'t worry about hurting my feelings or something as I\'m not a very sensitive person when it comes to these things. I would always appreciate your honest opinion.
