The book which gave deep impact to me is the ‘Land’, Korean novel and it describes when our country was controlled by Japan. It consists of 22 books, how much contents it is. The author who is so strong and famous women had been writing for 25 years, it’s so hardly and tortuous work. Of course I couldn’t read those books at one go. It took about 2 years. Through this book, I can understand well about our modern history and I can see the detail life of ordinary citizen and independence activists in the period of Japanese Occupancy. And then, when I read it, I had been agonizing about what I can for our country in the period of Japanese Occupancy. Could I do the independence activity if I live at that time? I don’t know. I can’t be certain. What I get one more thing from this book is confidence about reading. Reading book which is consists of 22 books is so difficult and boring, but I did it. So, I’m not afraid about reading of difficult books and very long book.
