HOMEWORK FOR TODAY Essay question Are you willing to sacrifice your life for your country? Why? It’s very sensitive and difficult question. When I was university student, I read a Korean novel ‘The Land’ which is consisted of a set of 23 volumes, this novel described vividly for Japanese colonial era. While I read the novel, I continuously agonize about whether I can sacrifice my life for my country. However I have not concluded about that. Of course, I exactly sacrificed my some partial life in military from when I was 22 years old until 24 years old for 2 years. Well, I think an independence movement is not similar to the military. To enter the military is duty for Korean guys. But, to get in on independence movement is not duty for the people. So, honestly I don’t know whether I can be willing to sacrifice my life for your country. See you! Take care!
