My memorable birthday celebration in my life

My memorable birthday celebration was 10 years ago when my family members went on a trip in Europe. My birthday is in middle of June during the summer vacation. We were on a group tour with a couple of tour guides. We tend to forget what date that day is, busy in doing sightseeing at many places. When we were on a sunset cruise on Seine River in Paris, a waiter poped open a champagne bottle just in front of me. I startled at making a loud noise. He spoke loud something in French, making a big smile. At first, I couldn't understand what he said but I noticed instantly that it meant "Happy birthday to You". I'd learned in school that French people always speak in French even to a foreigner even though the foreigner couldn't understand French. The information from the textbook became real just in front of me on the cruise. At any way, I could receive my birthday celebration from all people on the cruise. I could spend the unforgettable night with French dishes with my love.
