Noam Chomsky revolustionized linguistics with his innastist theory of language, but is perhaps best known for his left wing polical views. Though Chomsky is not given much attention from mainstream media, he is an icon on college campuses and within the radical polidical movement that formed from the ashes of the New Left. There are plenty of material about Chomsky on the web, but most of all is blind worship.Such materials overlook the fact that Chomsky is not different from peple that he criticizes and in general he is right in many parts but is not in other parts.
