According to the their research, it will cost a lot to set up the early stage of infrastructure, but we can save a fortune in the long run. I was so pleased to hear the news at first, because online textbook can save a lot of trees cut down. We are concerned about environment nowadays, so people are desperate to find a way to save the earth. It is like catching two bird with one stone. We can preserve trees and improve educational technology at the same time. Moreover, students can easily save their memo or progress on their computer account, so they can access the material with ease anytime they want. They can search the internet to find information reading the textbook and solve the questionnaire to be offered from online program according to level. In spite of the bright sides, I can't ignore some side effects that I can come up with. First of all, when electricity goes out what are students going to do? That will be another lame excuse for students not to study. Furthermore, Even if a computer is placed in each household, it should be shared with family members. Can student have enough time to study at home in that case? Students can access harmful websites with no trouble unless unbreakable protective programs are installed. Electric wave causes problems for students' growth. Learner's attitude for working is the most important factor in education, no matter how technology is improved. Sometimes people seems to forget the ultimate fact. Fancy technology doesn't guarantee an easy way to obtain knowledge. It is students who remain conscious of their learning without being lost in modern technology.
