I think parenting has changed a lot over the years. But I believe the core value of parenting has stayed the same, although some methods have changed.
In the past, parenting used to be stricter, focus more on discipline, and respect for authority. Children had to follow rules without question.
However, nowadays parenting is more about understanding children\'s feelings, open communication, and supporting individuality.
Modern parents also face new challenges, such as technology, social media,academic competition.
So I think parenting has become more flexible and child-centered compared to the past. The biggest difference is that parents today try to be both guides and friends to their children.
