Worship: I have grown as a worship leader and preacher of the Word of God. It has been my privilege to administer the Sacrament of Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month. I also officiated a wedding and infant baptism. I administered several funeral services. I set up new and creative worship services. Henderson UMC has provided online worship services every Sunday. It was a great opportunity to reach those who are new people and shut-ins.
Henderson UMC now has a screen and PowerPoint in the sanctuary during the worship service. Bible verses and lyrics of hymns are flashed on the screen for those who are having difficulties reading small letter pew Bibles and hymnals. Henderson recorded and send worship video links for those who were unable to attend due to covid 19 or mobility restriction.
Pastoral Visitation: In addition to visiting congregants in their homes, I have also made regular visits to nursing homes, hospitals, and workplaces.
