In this article, the authors reported a rare and interesting case of dermal melanocytic hamartoma in NF patient, but it needs some correction to be more informative and logical. First, “hairy pigmented patch” shown in this patients is very unique, but the discussion lacks the possible explanation such as the relationship between hair growth and dermal melanocytosis. Please provide the photo of histopathologic findings which include the epidermis and hair follicle to differentiate the current case from Becker’s nevus. Second, it is hard to find epithelioid cells in the current magnification view. Please provide photo with higher magnification view (x400). Third, reference should follow the author’s guidelines. Fourth, “Mongolian” should be “Mongolian spot” in the table 1.
