People live is improved as preparing food more easier than past.

I think about meaning of easier to prepare as two ways.

>>> I think there are two reasons why food preparation is better now than in the past.

First in term of equipment food preparing is easier than past so that current people life is better than past people.

>>> First, in terms of equipment food preparation is easier now than in the past so life at present is better than in the past.

For example for the past people if they want to make a rice they should prepare some woods for fire.

>>> For example, back then, if they want to cook rice they should prepare some woods for fire.

Afterwards make a fire they should watch or manage the fire to make a rice.

>>> After making fire they should monitor until the rice is cooked.

But nowadays, you know, we just put the switch and adjust the fire, that\'s all.

>>> But nowadays, we just simply switch on, adjust the fire, and that\'s all.

It is very easy compare with past. 

>>> It is easier compared in the past. 
Second in term of getting the food.

>>> Second, in terms of having foods.

In the past if someone want to prepare food they should work for a long time to buy it.

>>> In the past, if someone wants to prepare for foods they should work for a long time to buy it.

And sometime they can\'t buy the food because of lack of food.

>>> And sometime they can\'t buy some goods because of food shortage.

But nowadays you can get a food material anytime you want and easily.

>>> But nowadays, you can easily get the ingredients anytime you want  .

From only two things you can imagine easily that current people live is improved than past people lives.
